Children In Care Visits, Child Protection Visits and Welfare Visits
We conduct welfare visits in circumstances where there are concerns about child safety and we provide this as back-up for Local Authorities during weekends, out of hours and bank holidays.
We also complete statutory visits for children in care and undertake child protection visits as back up to Local Authorities. These visits will support social work teams and ensure that Local Authorities keep up with their statutory obligations and improve performance data. Most importantly we will ensure that children are in safe environments where their needs are met and their wishes and feelings are upheld.
Emergency Duty Team Back Up and out of hours Support
We provide back up support to emergency duty teams and offer out of hours support services
Our approach is restorative, strengths-based and systemic hence effective in mitigating placement disruptions. We will offer the necessary support balanced with appropriate challenge to stabilise placements and avoid unnecessary and traumatic placement moves for children.
We also intervene out of hours, weekends and bank holidays in cases of emergency, safeguarding concerns and risky situations, where there is requirement to move a child from one placement to another.
